A monk recently arrived from Tibet, sits in the refugee centre in Dharamsala, India...He fled his monastery in Amdo, after he faced expulsion for not comforming to the 're-education' programmes imposed on all religious education in Tibet, by the Chinese authorities. This includes denouncing the Dalai Lama...During the 2 month crossing of the Himalayas, he suffered snow-blindness and as result is now partially sighted.
